Loyola Chicago NIL Collective Announces Inaugural Keepers of the Culture Classic
Current Ramblers and men’s basketball alumni will face off in a showcase on Sunday, August 4th at Gentile Arena.
CHICAGO (July 18, 2024) – Keepers of the Culture, the NIL Collective serving Loyola Chicago student-athletes, is hosting the inaugural Keepers of the Culture Classic on Sunday, August 4 at 3:00 pm inside Gentile Arena featuring former Rambler men’s basketball players along with the current 2024-25 roster.
Packages, including VIP options, are now available at https://keepersoftheculturenil.com/event-tickets/. All proceeds directly benefit the Keepers of the Culture collective.
“Our program is all about culture and family, and the Keepers of the Culture Classic is a perfect way to celebrate these two things,” said Loyola head coach Drew Valentine. “I’m incredibly excited to welcome back some of the legends that have allowed our program to grow into what it is now and for our fans to get a glimpse of our current guys, especially the newcomers.”
Former Ramblers scheduled to appear include members of the 2018 Final Four team Cameron Krutwig, Donte Ingram, Lucas Williamson, and Ben Richardson, along with Milton Doyle, Tate Hall, Braden Norris, Tom Welch, Ryan Schwieger, and Chris Knight. They will be joined by special guest and 2016 National Player of the Year, Denzel Valentine.
The 2024-25 Ramblers feature key returners in Des Watson, Miles Rubin, Sheldon Edwards Jr., Jayden Dawson, and Jalen Quinn. The team also has four freshman and four transfers stepping foot on the court for the first time ever.
